The National Memorial Arboretum

A society day out by coach to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

With over 300 memorials and an abundance of wildlife in 150 acres of landscaped woodland, there is something for everyone at the Arboretum.

The National Memorial Arboretum is Britain’s year-round national site of remembrance at Alrewas, near Lichfield, Staffordshire, United Kingdom.

It is a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.

The coach fare is £10 per person and entry is free.

Visitors can chose to have a waitress served meal (£15.50 for 1 course, £17.50 for 2 courses) and to ride the land train with audio commentary (£5 per person)

There is a daily service in the memorial chapel at 11 o’clock.
